Grade A - Premium
Like-new condition with minimal wear. Clean, structurally sound, no repairs or significant damage. May have minor scuffs or markings. Ideal for clean environments, food-adjacent applications, and customer-facing operations.
Grade B - Standard
Good condition with visible wear. May have minor repairs, tape marks, or printing. Structurally sound and fully functional. Our most popular grade for general industrial use - best value for most applications.
Grade C - Economy
Significant wear but still functional. May have multiple repairs, heavy printing, staining, or cosmetic damage. Good for single-use applications, recycling collection, or internal operations where appearance doesn't matter.

They're the same thing! "Gaylord" is an industry term that became generic, like Kleenex for tissues. Pallet box, bulk bin, and tote box all refer to the same type of large corrugated container.
How many times can a gaylord box be reused?
Depending on the wall type and contents, gaylord boxes can be reused 3-10+ times. Triple-wall boxes with light loads may last 10+ cycles, while single-wall with heavy loads may only last 1-2 uses.
Are your gaylord boxes food-safe?

Do gaylord boxes come with pallets?

Storage & Handling Best Practices
Get the most out of your gaylord boxes with proper care
Store Flat
When not in use, knock down and store flat to save space. Stack flat boxes no more than 20 high to prevent crushing.
Keep Dry
Store in a dry area. Moisture weakens corrugated cardboard significantly. Cover with plastic sheeting if storing outdoors temporarily.
Proper Setup
Ensure bottom flaps are fully overlapped and taped for maximum strength. Use at least two strips of 3-inch packing tape.
Even Loading
Distribute weight evenly across the bottom. Don't concentrate heavy items in one area to prevent bottom failure.
Don't Overfill
Keep contents 2-3 inches below the top edge for safe stacking. Overfilled boxes can't be properly closed or stacked.
Use Liners
For liquids or moisture-sensitive products, use polyethylene liners. This also makes cleanup easier for reuse.
